I am passionate about forming a strong relationship built on trust, openness, and acceptance with all of my clients. I consider you to be the expert in your own life and the best person to solve your problems; my role is to support you and help facilitate this process.
I enjoy working with ages 12+, and work with clients experiencing a wide range of concerns from depression, anxiety disorders, men’s issues, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, stress from caretaking, life transitions, interpersonal concerns, and grief. I am neurodivergent affirming, and an ally to the LGBTQ+ community.
I utilize a person-centered approach that seeks to empower you to discover your own path forward through reflection, experimentation, and exploration of your goals and values. I consider myself a non-directive but active therapist who will work just as hard as you do in the session. I will do more than simply listen to what you say but will always respect your autonomy and dignity. No two people are the same and I am excited to discover how to address your particular concerns in a way that feels authentic to you!
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC) working toward my post-degree hours to complete my LPC license while being mentored and supervised by my two very experienced colleagues at Winds of Change Counseling. I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation to help determine goodness of fit and answer any questions you might have about my practice.
