My therapeutic style is warm, honest, and heart centered. I use a holistic approach to weave present and past experiences together utilizing multiple counseling theories to best meet your needs. This work allows us to go deeper to treat issues relating to relationships, life transitions, sexuality, self-esteem and self-love, grief, childlessness, and more.

My work incorporates theories and techniques from the behavioral, person-centered, humanistic, existential, Gestalt and narrative therapeutic approaches. I believe it is essential to

understand the context of people’s lives and I ask about others who are important in your life, cultural influences, and how you are impacted by societal pressures. Together we will work to make positive changes in your life, in a manner that addresses the mind, body, emotions, spirit, and social environment.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC) working toward my post-degree hours to complete my LPC license while being mentored and supervised by my two colleagues at Winds of Change Counseling. I completed my Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Regis University in Denver in 2019. I also have a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Economics from Ripon College in Ripon, Wisconsin.

Before joining Winds of Change Counseling, I owned and operated my own private practice, working with a variety of individual adult clients. I am experienced in working with a range of presenting challenges and issues including childhood trauma, anxiety, major depression, life transitions, grief and loss, infertility, suicide ideation, and more.

I have worked with many organizations in healthcare, advocacy, and education over the course of my career including People House Denver, the Colorado School of Public Health, the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, University of Colorado Denver, and the Gill Foundation and its Gay & Lesbian Fund for Colorado. I am an ally and hold a safe space and place in my heart for the LGBTQ+ community and have worked closely with many clients transitioning their gender, sexuality, identity, and expression. I would be honored to work with you.
